Version: v4 | Effective date: September 20, 2026
JobLook is operated by Yingbao Su. This Policy describes how we handle information in the app, related websites, and support services.
Website: https://zhaogongzuoapp.com
Privacy contact: support@zhaogongzuoapp.com
We process information needed for recruitment, job searching, communication, notifications, and safety. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or track you across apps. The Platform displays region-related advertisements without using advertising identifiers to build cross-app advertising profiles.
This Policy covers information you provide, information generated through Platform use, and information received from Apple, Google, or public recruitment sources. Third-party sign-in pages, carriers, maps, merchant websites, and external payment services have their own privacy practices.
Public browsing does not require registration. Account features are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Do not submit Social Security numbers, banking passwords, identity document photographs, or other sensitive material unrelated to this service in posts, chats, or support requests. We do not require or intentionally collect such information.
When you access our website or app interfaces, servers process IP addresses, request paths, times, response status, and necessary browser or device technical information to deliver content, troubleshoot, limit requests, and protect security. Search, region, and category filters require sending those query conditions to the server. Some request information may appear in access logs.
Session credentials are not placed in public links or access logs. Browsing without an account does not create a signed-in account, but still generates this technical information; it does not mean no data processing occurs.
| What | Information | Main purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Third-party sign-in | Apple or Google account identifier, email, and verification status | Account creation, authentication, and support; sign-in email is not automatically shown in public listings |
| Authentication credentials | Session token on the device, its hash on the server, and an Apple authorization refresh token | Maintain sign-in, prevent unauthorized access, and revoke Apple authorization when an account is deleted |
| Profile | Display name, account status, accepted document version and time | Identify participants, manage accounts, and record acceptance |
| Recruitment and job-seeker content | Position, category, region, pay, introduction, supplied address, contact person, phone, contact preference, and post status | Publish, search, display, contact, and manage posts |
| In-app communication | Conversations, messages, job seeker cards, phone cards, initiated-call records, unread status, and blocking relationships | Chat, contact history, and safety |
| Notifications | Summary of up to three job categories and one city, notification records, and a device token when system push is enabled | Match jobs or job seekers and send service updates |
| Purchases | Purchase intents, products, prices, Apple transaction identifiers and receipts, benefits, and refund status | Validate payment, deliver services, reconcile transactions, and prevent receipt reuse |
| Reports and support | Reported item, reason, submitted explanation, relevant content, and handling records | Investigate issues, address violations, handle appeals, and provide support |
| Daily puzzles | Starts, completion, time, scores, and streaks | Daily puzzles, progress, and leaderboards |
Google's basic sign-in authorization may return a name, profile image, and email to the sign-in component. The Platform currently uses the account identifier and email for account handling and does not save the Google name or image as your public profile. We do not request access to Gmail content, contacts, or cloud files. Apple sign-in requests only email, and you may use Apple's Hide My Email option.
| Data saved on your device | Handling |
|---|---|
| Individual browsing records, counts, and local ranking preferences | Used for on-device recommendations, without uploading a post-by-post browsing history |
| Favorites, contacted lists, and some display settings | Kept on the device, without account cloud synchronization of these lists |
| Local chat copies | Allow reading received messages; chat itself is also stored and transmitted by the server |
| Local drafts and puzzle progress | Restore unfinished actions; publishing, saving a server draft, or submitting a score sends the relevant content to the server |
The new-job notification summary is separate processing. After sign-in, the app syncs up to three job categories and one city, based on your job-seeker posts, selected categories, or local interests, and links the summary to your account to match notifications. This does not upload individual viewed posts, view counts, or device coordinates. The city can come from a manual selection or a city derived on the device from its location.
This summary supports in-app notifications and does not require system notification permission. Disabling iPhone notifications stops system presentation but does not independently stop summary syncing. Signing out stops subsequent account syncing from that device; deleting the account removes the server summary. Local feed ranking and notification matching are different features.
With your location permission, the app uses the device's position to determine a relevant region on the device. It does not upload the device coordinates used for that determination or continuously track background location. You can decline or revoke permission and select a region manually.
The server still receives selected filters, the city in your notification summary, and work or job-search locations you choose to publish. When entering or searching for an address, the system map service may process the query and selected place information, which may be submitted with a post. An address you provide for work is different from your device's current position.
Opening navigation passes the destination to your chosen map service, whose rules govern subsequent processing.
We process information to provide and maintain recruitment and job-search services; authenticate accounts and record acceptance; display and manage content; deliver messages, contact requests, and notifications; process purchases and refunds; operate puzzles and leaderboards; handle reports, support, and security incidents; and meet applicable legal obligations.
The server may update ranking and display parameters. This does not give it your device's individual browsing history. We do not use private chats, nonpublic job-seeker contact details, or sign-in information to build behavioral profiles for third-party advertisers.
Recruitment listings can be viewed and distributed in the app, on public webpages and search results, and through shared text or posters. Public recruitment information may also be reposted in publicity channels that help distribute those listings. Include only information appropriate for prospective applicants to see.
Job-seeker posts are visible to signed-in users who can access that feature, not only to verified employers. Display names, job-search content, and voluntarily supplied contact information may be viewed, copied, or saved. Posting a job-seeker listing does not by itself authorize us to repost your contact details publicly on external social platforms.
Messages, job seeker cards, and phone cards are shown to conversation participants. Authorized personnel may access relevant content for reports, security incidents, support, or legal obligations. Chat is not end-to-end encrypted. The Platform cannot directly control copies, screenshots, or forwards made by users.
Puzzle leaderboards show participants' display names and relevant scores.
Apple or Google sign-in does not require you to supply a phone number to the Platform. We process a number you supply when publishing a post with phone contact or sending a phone card. Calling from the app requires signing in.
Numbers are commonly supplied through a call button, but the button is not a confidentiality or copying safeguard. Numbers may also appear in text-message instructions, public recruitment webpages, shared text, and posters. For public-source jobs, we retain original contact numbers and call or text preferences. Content expressly requesting texts may display the number directly.
Recorded dialing actions do not include telephone audio or the actual conversation and do not prove a call connected. Your carrier or other provider handles device calling and texts, and the recipient may see your caller ID.
| Recipient | Information involved | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | Sign-in and authorization revocation requests, push device tokens and notification content, purchase information, and queries or destinations used in system maps | Sign-in, system push, payments, and device services |
| Google sign-in requests and basic authorization information | Authenticate a Google account; no request for email content or contact access | |
| Hosting and email providers, including DigitalOcean and Zoho | Hosted service data, technical logs, support emails, and necessary contact details | Hosting, operations, communication, and support |
| Model providers used to organize public recruitment information, including OpenAI | External public recruitment text and its public job facts and contact details | Organize and reword public recruitment text; not automatically rewrite posts submitted by users in this app |
| Other users, merchants, and external services you choose | Information you publish, share, or voluntarily send | Job display, recruitment contact, appointments, navigation, or external services |
Providers' processing is also governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies. Apple's information is at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/; Google's is at https://policies.google.com/privacy; OpenAI's is at https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/.
We may disclose necessary information for legal obligations or lawful requests, to protect users and the Platform, investigate fraud, or address rights disputes. Information may transfer with a business transfer or reorganization, subject to applicable law and privacy notices.
Advertisements are served according to region and campaign configuration. Ad impressions, opens, contact actions, and similar events are counted by advertisement, event type, and date. These ad statistics do not include account identifiers, device advertising identifiers, or person-by-person behavioral profiles. When receiving requests, servers still process IP addresses and other technical information for rate limiting and security.
You may report an ad inside the app without signing in. Reports record the ad, reason, explanation, and a request identifier used to avoid duplicate submissions. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a report.
Apple processes in-app payments directly; we do not receive full payment card details. For additional consumption information used to assess refund requests, we currently provide no such data to Apple. Before introducing such optional sharing, we would update the disclosure and provide a separate consent choice that is off by default.
| Data category | Retention arrangement |
|---|---|
| Sign-in identities, notification summaries, device tokens, and job-seeker posts | Retained to provide account services; sign-out removes the relevant session's push-device association, and account deletion is handled as described below |
| Messages and contact records | Retained to provide conversation history; there is currently no automatic 90-day cleanup. Account deletion follows the next section, and reported conversations may remain |
| Removed recruitment listings, purchase intents, transactions, reports, acceptance, and necessary security records | No uniform automatic deletion period currently applies. They may be kept long-term for history, reconciliation, complaints, and legal obligations; you may request deletion or restricted processing, and we will assess applicable retention needs |
| Access and application logs | The gateway normally rotates approximately 14 days of logs; application logs are configured for a maximum of approximately 30 days. Security-incident material may be retained separately |
| Routine and release backups | Routine backups rotate under an approximately 14-day cleanup policy; release, recovery, or audit backups may remain longer, with restricted operational and recovery access rather than normal product queries |
| Apple revocation queue | If revocation has not succeeded after deletion, the necessary token remains temporarily for retries; it is deleted from the queue after success |
| Local data and copies held by others | Retention depends on device sign-out, deletion, clearing, or uninstall actions and recipients' behavior; server deletion does not simultaneously remove all copies |
We assess retention based on purpose, account status, security needs, and applicable law. Backup deletion may lag behind the online system. If a backup is restored, applicable account-deletion processing should be reapplied.
Use “Delete account” in account management in the “My” area. We end access and revoke sessions; delete third-party identities and email, display name, push device tokens, notifications and matching summaries, job-seeker posts, puzzle scores, and streaks; and unlink puzzle-start records from your account.
Recruitment posts are removed from display, dedicated contact-name and phone fields are cleared, and drafts and posting payloads in purchase intents are deleted. Some historical recruitment text, regions, addresses, and transaction-linked records may remain. Contact us for further removal of personal information included in those records.
Messages, cards, phone cards, and call-action records you sent are deleted from conversations that have not been reported. Reported conversations may be retained for investigation and rights protection. Other participants' messages, lawfully retained records, and copies already received on their devices are not all removed. Others may see “Deleted user.”
Necessary purchase, refund, report, ban, and acceptance records may remain. Deletion does not mean all those records are immediately anonymized and does not automatically refund payments.
For Apple accounts, we request revocation of Apple authorization and retry temporary failures. The local identity for Google sign-in is deleted; you can also manage third-party connections in your Google account settings. Signing in again creates a new account without automatically restoring the old history.
You can view or change your profile and posts, manage favorites, display settings, and blocking, sign out or delete the account, and change location and notification permissions in system settings. Saving a poster to Photos requires the relevant write permission; it does not read your entire photo library. Turning off system notifications does not remove existing in-app notifications or matching summaries.
Contact our support email to request access, correction, deletion, a copy, or restricted processing. We verify identity and respond according to applicable law, request scope, and information we must retain. Where applicable law provides, you may appeal the outcome and exercise statutory rights without discrimination.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so stopping those activities does not depend on enabling Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Necessary functional, security, and legally required processing continues.
We collect recruitment text, source URLs, publication times, job facts, regions, and public contact details from public recruitment websites for deduplication, classification, and editing. Model services may assist with rewriting to improve reading consistency; contact numbers and material job conditions should remain accurate.
Original sources and processing records may be retained for verification, correction, and deduplication. A display region may follow the source website's intended recruiting audience rather than the exact work address. We cannot guarantee that source information remains current. Employers and rights holders may contact support to request corrections, removal from display, or deletion.
Recruitment and job-seeker posts submitted by users within this app are excluded from that public-source automated rewriting process.
Account features are for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information should contact us for investigation and appropriate action.
We use HTTPS, authentication, access controls, necessary logs, and backups to protect information. Device session tokens use secure storage; the server keeps their hashes. Apple refresh tokens are retained in usable form with restricted access for authorization revocation. No network or storage method guarantees absolute security.
The Platform operates for the United States, and providers may process information in the United States or other countries. We take measures required by applicable law for such processing. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information in public posts or chats.
We update this Policy as features and processing change and publish its version and effective date. Changes requiring renewed notice or consent are handled as applicable. Acknowledging a privacy policy does not replace separate permissions or consent required by law.
Chinese and English versions are provided. If they differ, the Chinese version prevails, without affecting statutory privacy or language protections.
